While Amelia interned for MadridMedia, she was responsible for editing and publishing Facebook and Instagram posts for Estrella, a Goodyear, Arizona-based housing development. The community was established in 1988 and is reestablishing life in the Sonoran Desert by offering a wide range of amenities for residents.

Much of her social media experience has taken place on the ground, posting live from numerous events. In January, she attended the community's groundbreaking event, which announced the construction of a new neighborhood, and in March, she worked at their annual Lakeside Music Festival.

The Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC), an established nonprofit trade association, operates as a forum for the exchange of ideas, concerns and experiences among senior executives in the commercial real estate industry.

On January 23, 2025, REIAC hosted its annual Fireside Chat, which engages conversations between executives and real estate veterans. Arizona State University President Dr. Michael Crow and moderator Mike Stapp discussed how ASU has established itself as an enterprise. Dr. Crow asserted that much of ASU's growth as a public research university is rooted in the fact it has moved away from the traditional model of a government entity.

Monroe was responsible for filming and editing the REIAC video.

The Arizona Chapter of NAIOP is the largest association representing the commercial real estate industry in the state of Arizona. NAIOP Arizona includes over 1,000 members that represent about 400 real estate companies. The group operates as a networking and education platform for industry executives. 

Monroe had the opportunity to record and edit multiple videos for the Arizona chapter. The Legislative Lens video highlights how the Director of Government Relations, John Baumer, is working to represent the real estate industry at the Arizona Capitol.
